News Got any news? This is where we'll post newsworthy items of interest concerning the Crossroads Bikers, and our newsletter.
May 08 - A shout out and congratulations to the Royal Riders (Royal Baptist), that became the 1st or 2nd F.A.I.T.H. rider chapter in GA! We were glad to show up for the commissioning and worship with you. We wear a different backpatch - but we serve the same Lord! May God bless the F.A.I.T.H. riders as they minister alongside us in GA! Apr. 08 - Senoia Motorcycle Meet. We set up a tent, gave away some water and tracts - and prayed for a lot of folks and their motorcycles. We also connected with 6-8 people looking for a church home or biker ministry. Pictures here. Apr. 08 - God's Highway. The newest addition to our website is a monthly inspirational article from Gary Wadding, CMA Southeastern regional evangelist, called God's Highway. Gary writes the article for U.S. Rider News, and most bikers LOVE it! We appreciate Gary and Scott Cochran from U.S. Rider News for allowing us to share God's Highway with our website viewers. Apr. 08 - Biker ministry affiliation? (FAITH or CMA). Crossroads Bikers is a biker ministry of one church, solely under the leadership of our church elders, with NO affiliation as a biker ministry. Individuals, not churches, choose to join CMA, and many of our members have chosen to join or serve with CMA. On Mar. 31 we had an informational briefing from F.A.I.T.H. Riders, which is coming into GA (they are fairly extensive in FL), and were encouraged to affiliate with F.A.I.T.H. Riders. After soliciting feedback from our bikers about CMA and F.A.I.T.H., our leadership decided not to pursue F.A.I.T.H. affiliation. That's not a negative reflection on F.A.I.T.H. riders, where they've been or going, or how they do ministry. Our survey indicated a majority of our bikers support CMA, and the CMA Newnan chapter, and the resources, training and ministry tools that CMA provides helps us do ministry for Jesus. We want to fellowship and minister as Crossroads Bikers, where God leads us. We will continue to support what CMA is doing, and to the extent we can, will also try to support F.A.I.T.H. riders or other Christian biker ministries in our area. See our calendar for our May 4 commitment to attend the 1st F.A.I.T.H. rider chapter commissioning in our area. Feb. 08 - Testimonies. Ronnie Hill put a new site on the Internet Jan. 18, a Christian testimony site, which also allows people that watch a testimony to register for a brand new car. It's a great site that we're glad to link up with. (We don't hold or support raffles - where one person wins and 2,500 people lose their money). We do believe in giveaways, though! Jan. 08 - WWJB (What Would Jesus Blog?). If Jesus was living and teaching on this earth in 2008, would He use the Internet, have a web page, or use a Blog (that's a web log) to get his message out? Why not - it's a way to reach people that He loves with a message of hope. This year Ken Adams (Sr. Pastor of Crossroads) started a blog - in an effort to equip people to be authentic disciples and make more disciples of Christ. Check it out - http://walkingasJesuswalked.blogspot.com. Dec. 08 - Angel Tree. A big shout out and thanks to 8 biker ministries in our area, that partnered with us to deliver Angel Tree gifts to over 370 households this Christmas. We've got plenty of Christians willing to purchase and wrap gifts - but we couldn't get them all delivered (to 11 counties) without the help of groups like the Community Christian Riders & CMA Blessed Riders (for 3 years), New Vision Biker Ministry (2 years), Mt. Holly Victory Riders, CMA Freedom Riders, Son Chasers, CMA Grace Riders, and the Southside Saints. Thanks for partnering with us to share the love of Christ at Christmas. We can do more for Christ collectively than we can individually.
Right now, we handle most of our ride and event communications through email. If you would like to be on the email list of the Crossroads Bikers, please complete this form, or Email the Secretary. Include your name, email address and phone number.
