Angel Tree Christmas is a great Picture of kids & Mom at Christmasservant evangelism program - which provides two Christmas gifts to children of incarcerated parents.  Crossroads Church began supporting Angel Tree 15 years ago by helping Coweta County families.  Crossroads Bikers assumed leadership of this ministry six years ago, and it has grown (with the help of 15 other biker ministries and churches) to deliver to 12 counties, and over 250 families per year  -  the largest Angel Tree program in the Southeast!

Being in prison fractures a family unit, and causes problems at home for the children and care-givers, who are innocent victims of the inmate's crimes.

Two boys get some Christmas gifts  Can 1 person really sort and bag all those gifts?

These children love to hear from their incarcerated parent, and they love getting some presents, but they also love seeing Bikes are loaded with presents for Christmas deliveryand hearing motorcycles!  In 2009, Crossroads Church and the Crossroads Bikers  partnered with CMA Blessed Riders, New Vision Biker Ministry, CMA Grace Riders, CMA Cross & Crown Riders, Hog Heaven Riders, Redeemed Biker Church, Salem BC FAITH Riders, Philadelphia Presbyterian Church, Forest Park Church of Christ, and the Southside Saints to deliver over 850 gifts to over 400 kids - all in Jesus' name!

2010 Angel Tree Planning - It took three weekends in 2008, but we slimmed down to two weekends in 2009, and we plan the same for 2010 (delivery on Dec. 4th and 11th).   We won't get names until Oct. 2010 - so we don't know how many volunteers we'll need - but we can use  BIkers deliver Angel Tree gifts in Carrollton YOU!

Child sponsor days in the lobby at church were the last three weekends in November.  We always need help organizing deliveries, calling caregivers, and sorting/bagging the gifts.

If you can provide some of this advance help, please contact Sam Connor, our Angel Tree Coordinator, at Angel Tree or call 770.301.1937.

The gifts are larger than these 4 boys   Cute girl excited about her present    Southside Saints helped us with Angel Tree delivery

Crossroads Angel Tree Planning Meetings - It takes a few volunteers (and team leaders) to make an Angel Tree program of this size work smoothly (it hasn't yet!)   Here's our 2010 preliminary Angel Tree schedule.

2009 Update - Our last presents were delivered by Jan. 15, 2010 (late getting the stragglers this year).  Except for paperwork completion - we had another successful Angel Tree year.

Thanks to the planners, callers, sorter/baggers, gift purchasers and delivery teams for your willingness to serve and help some families in need!
